Scoping review on the evidence assessment of interventions: a protocol

The Cochrane Complementary Medicine Germany team is pleased to  announce the publication of a protocol of a scoping review on evidence assessment models. This review will identify and compare different models used to assess evidence in health research from both published academic studies and other relevant sources, aiming to inform approaches to evidence appraisal in clinical decision-making or health technology assessment.

Yoga therapy in U.S. clinical research: A scoping review of definitions and alignment with professional standards

Our Director, Dr. Susan Wieland, has shared details of a recently published paper. This study is part of a larger international initiative, takes a U.S.-based approach to examine how yoga therapy is defined and differentiated from general yoga practice; how it is  implemented in clinical research; and to assess alignment of reported interventions with international professional standards.

Dr. Wieland also contributed to a collaborative effort coordinated by Cochrane Planetary Health Thematic Group to develop and publish a search strategy to identify studies linking public health and climate change.
