Cochrane Complementary Medicine in Europe

Cochrane Complementary Medicine Field contributors met up at two international events in Europe in March.

The first, on March 7-8, was the First Strategic Meeting of the Thematic Group of Cochrane Rehabilitation, Functioning and Disability (Cochrane Rehab), held at the IRCCS Galeazzi in Milan, Italy. Cochrane Complementary Medicine Field Director Susan Wieland joined colleagues from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Jordan, New Zealand, and Spain to develop a work plan and discuss ongoing and future collaborative activities for the Thematic Group. Cochrane Rehab, one of the newest Cochrane Thematic Groups, is focused on improving the evidence on human health and functioning through methodological studies, knowledge translation activities, and the production of high-quality systematic reviews and overviews of reviews.
