Announcing Cochrane Complementary Medicine Brazil

Cochrane Complementary Medicine is delighted to announce the establishment of Cochrane Complementary Medicine Brazil at the CABSIN - Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health. The group will be led by Dr. Ricado Ghelman, Professor in the field of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and Founder Chair of CABSIN, and Dr. Caio Portella, naturopath president of CABSIN (2025-2027) and President of the World Naturopathic Federation
 

Cochrane Complementary Medicine Brazil will collaborate with Cochrane Complementary Medicine colleagues in the USA, Switzerland, South Korea, Germany, and China on research initiatives, as well as with Cochrane and integrative medicine colleagues globally to improve the quality, coverage, and uptake of evidence on traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine interventions.

"The CABSIN team are accomplished researchers with expertise in evaluating evidence on natural products, East Asian medicine, ayurveda, yoga, mindfulness, anthroposophic medicine, and other integrative approaches to health and well-being. Their expertise in evidence maps and knowledge translation will greatly contribute to the global impact of Cochrane Complementary Medicine."
